Today is the 1st day of session 2. We learned how to use VOKI and VOCAROO to record our voice. The VOCAROO simply record the voice, the VOKI will record the voice and is able to show some visual images. Both of them can be used in students’ assessments of listening and speaking.

I love Jing for everything except that the video captured in JING cannot be edited in live movie maker to become a part of my movie.

That’s a good point, Yan! Here’s a pro tip – download the SWF file from Jing and then convert it to a WMV file using the free program, Any Video Converter. Then you will be able to edit it in Windows Live Movie Maker.

Hello everyone! Hope every one is having a relaxed time!
Since the hotel we stayed in DC did not have stable internet, I did not have time to practice the skills that I had learned in the workshop, so after I came home, I practiced on PicMonkey, PhotoPeach and Padlet. Cool, cool cool! I like them all. Thank you again, Nova Startalk!!
Today, I worked on Padlet and made a wall on “Tea”. I plan to use it as a teaching material and as a sampler for my students. I will design activities for my students using Padlet to present.
