First, the teacher introduce some Taiwanese food : Braised pork rice (滷肉飯), Oyster vermicelli (蚵仔麵線), Spicy hotpot (麻辣火鍋), Coffin bread (棺材板). After guide, the students would be asked to discuss in pairs and then share their favorite food by using the target language.

The first tagxedo shows the words of emotions, but all of the words are of single characters and students will try to find as many as the correct emotion words as they can.
The second tagxedo shows words of color, and all the words are of correct combinations of characters. Students will need to find all the color words which are of the same color as their meanings.

Hi! My name is Xiufeng Zhu (Julia). I teach Chinese at a K-12 school in Georgia. I totally enjoyed this workshop in the past week. I learned so much in so few days. I had learned a lots of cool tools and new technologies. I created my own web page. I made electronic poster. I know how to use voice thread to connect students by simply use their standard phone. Tagxedo, mybrainshark, Jing, Google hangout, etc. I personal loved every piece of these new technologies. I hope my students will just love these new things as much as I do.
